What is KusinaPH?
KusinaPH is a Filipino recipe site with regional dishes, cooking mode, adjustable servings, optional food-cost estimates, and ingredient tips. It is built for home cooks in the Philippines and abroad.
How does food costing work?
Open My Prices to set market prices per gram, kilogram, liter, piece, and more. On any recipe, open the Food cost tab to see an estimated total that scales when you change servings. Prices are stored in your browser—not on our servers.
Are nutrition numbers accurate?
Nutrition on recipe pages is approximate—useful for comparison, not for medical or diet planning. Real values depend on brands, cuts, and how much oil you use.
Why can I check off ingredients?
Tap an ingredient to mark it gathered. Checked items show a strikethrough so you can track prep while cooking—especially helpful on long grocery lists.
Do recipe FAQs apply to every version of a dish?
Each recipe has its own FAQ about that specific dish (e.g. adobo vinegar tips, sinigang souring). Your family’s version may differ—that is normal for Filipino cooking.
Can I print or share a recipe?
Yes. Use Print Recipe or Share Recipe on the recipe page. Printing hides navigation and focuses on ingredients and steps.
How do I reset my saved prices?
On the My Prices page, click Reset my prices. Suggested defaults come back; only your custom entries are cleared.
How do I contact you?
Use our Contact page or email hello@kusinaph.com for feedback, corrections, or privacy questions.
Recipe-specific questions (e.g. “Why bay leaves in adobo?”) appear on each recipe page under FAQ, Nutrition, and Why these ingredients?
